I am honored and proud to announce a conversation in collaboration with Dr. Sara Goldrick-Rab, Founding Director of the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice in Philadelphia. She is also the Chief Strategy Officer for Emergency Aid at Edquity, a student financial success and emergency aid company, and founded Believe in Students, a nonprofit distributing emergency aid.

Join us for a conversation (via Zoom):
Sunday, October 4th, 2020, 2:00pm-3:00pm PST

We’ll be discussing food and housing insecurity in higher education and what we could and should be doing for our local students and families in our own backyards.

Admission to this event requires a $50 contribution to the Lisa4Trustee campaign (waived for students currently enrolled within the San Mateo County Community College District).

If you have already made a donation (thank you!), all you need to do is to fill out the form in order to receive the Zoom link for the event.

The Chronicle of Higher Education calls Sara “a defender of impoverished students and a scholar of their struggles,” an accurate description of her life’s work. http://saragoldrickrab.com/media/#televisionopeds

Thank you for your support and looking forward to the conversation!
